A Star is Born--”karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower” set in the Heart of Kansai
Grand Opening on Nov. 27th of the First “Reiwa” year, 2019, equipped with a whooping 396 rooms, karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower of course attracted someone who enjoys travelling like me to have a peep right after they started operating. I must say, its simple and elegant interior in the lobby provides a rather cheering and relaxing vibe, which can effortlessly ease travellers’ mind from the long hauled journey.
karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower can be spotted quite easily after a 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka station. It’s outstretching, easy to find but away from the hustle and bustle in the city.
With a wood-based scheme and pattern on the wall, I instantly felt the warmth and quietness of the space once I stepped into the lobby. Even better, karaksa hotel proceeds group travellers and individual travellers to check in on different floors, in behalf of a smoother check-in process. I give a 10 to this thoughtful design!
A Line-up of Various Room Types to Meet Your Needs!
karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower provides numerous room types for travellers with different purposes to choose. Let’s have a peep!
Standard Double Room:
A room with a bed 140 cm in width, this room type is best for business trippers or travel-light couples. I personally think one of the best parts is the higher and wider under-the-bed space where we can easily swipe our suitcases under. Settling down the suitcases is always an annoying thing from my personal experience--no matter you put at the entrance, next to your bed or in the closet, it’s just troublesome. BUT, with such a space under the bed, all problems are solved!
Standard Twin Room:
This room has two 110 cm-in-width single beds and is completed with a separated toilet, dressing and shower space.
Standard Twin Room with Extra Bed:
With an extra bed added to the Standard Twin Room type, this room has an amazing feature: to connect with the next room from the door in between, and can serve up to 6 travellers! It’s almost custom-designed for a group of BFFs! Don’t you just love having some “pyjama party” vibe while travelling with good friends?
Panoramic Grande Room:
This room is equipped with some large windows that allow guests to have a breath-taking view of Osaka City--even when taking a bath! It also contains an individual washing machine, very convenient for family travellers.
Panoramic Premier Twin Room:
I personally call this room as the “Entertaining Room” for its chic interior. Equipped with two large beds, a fashionable sofa set, this room is definitely worth some Insta-worthy pictures! I can almost imagine myself inviting friends to this room for a small party! The coffee maker is an icing on the cake--I mean, how can you resist waking up in the morning by the nice scent of coffee?
Panoramic Grande Room with Tatami:
I think this will be the most popular room type among foreign travellers! This room is set with a Tatami space, placed with a Japanese table and some cushions on. For travellers with children, I think this will be their best choice. The walls are painted with Macha green--very bright but warm and cozy. Travellers can put Japanese “futon” on the Tatami floor as children’s sleeping space, to sugar on their precious Japan experience--an entertaining one, I must say!
Other Features:
Aside from the rooms above, they also have many other types of rooms for travellers to choose from. I must put credits on their accessible room--a room for the physically-challenged. This room is equipped with flat flooring and handrails in the bathroom.
Whether you travel alone, in group, with family or friends, or plan to have a BFF bonding trip, there is always a best room type for you!
An All-you-can-eat Breakfast Buffet with a Variety of Western, Japanese Traditional & Local Dishes
The restaurant is another appeal of karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower. This spacious restaurant feature floor-to-ceiling windows that allow enough light to pour in. The wooden frames that cross under the ceiling and the “karaksa” arabesque pattern relief wall distribute a Japanese twist to the modern interior.
Aside from the Western menu, they also offer an array of Japanese breakfast choices such as rice, grilled fish, “tsukemono” (pickled vegetables), and miso soup. What’s even better is the mouth-watering, famous local food from Osaka and other neighboring areas such as Takoyaki from Osaka and chicken wings from Nagoya!
This perfect combination of Western and Japanese style breakfast buffet can undoubtedly satisfy our stomachs. And of course a selfie with our breakfast set is a must.
The Relaxing Spacious Hot Baths, Free Wi-Fi and Coin Laundry Room!
karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower features two popular large hot baths--one for gentlemen and one for ladies. The men’s is equipped with a dry sauna while the ladies’ with a steam type for their beauty maintenance. After a day of walking and shopping, a fantastic Japanese-style bath definitely guarantee us a relaxing evening and good night sleep.
Next to the Large Baths is the Coin Laundry Room, very convenient for long-term travellers.
Four vending machine areas are set in the building, and a LAWSON convenience store is right on the first floor. Whether for a quick drink or some night snacks, travellers don’t have to worry about not finding anything for their food exploration.
Wi-Fi service runs in whole building--and the reception seems to be great in all corners. You can share pictures of your trip on social media without any delay. Even if you have any questions, you don’t have to fear any Lost in Translation, as many staff are bi- or trilingual.
