Is Tokyo offering one of the best summer deals ever? If you're not leaving the city this summer, here's a bargain just for you. Tokyo Skytree announced its "Tokyo Skytree 50% OFF Summer Campaign" exclusively for Tokyo Metro residents. The limited-time deal goes from August 7 through August 23.
If you live in Tokyo, you've probably felt that you can visit the world's tallest tower pretty much anytime. But if you haven't yet made the spectacular climb, now's the time!
50% Off on Tembo Deck Tickets! Further Benefits

Under this campaign, Tokyo residents (or, if in a group, one representative must be a Tokyo resident) get to ride up to the Floor350 Tembo Deck for half off. When purchasing your pass at the fourth-floor ticket counter, all you have to do is show proof of residence - like your driver's license or alien registration card.
Normally, same-day tickets are 2,100 yen for adults, but this becomes 1,050 yen under the campaign. And on weekends and holidays, the 2,300 yen ticket becomes 1,150 yen. What a bargain!

Both the Tembo Deck and Combo tickets are eligible for the deal, with the regular Combo Ticket price of 3,100 for adults being slashed to 1,550 yen under the campaign. And on weekends and holidays, the normal 3,400 yen ticket becomes 1,700. (*Free for preschoolers)
*On weekdays and holidays, please check the Tokyo Skytree official website for more information.
Plus, it comes with benefits that can be used at the SKYTREE SHOP and SKYTREE CAFE Floor 350. You can get 10% off purchases of 1,000 yen (tax included) and more at the TOKYO SKYTREE official shops located on floors 1, 5, and the Tembo Deck Floor 345. Plus you can get 10% off all cafe menu items at the SKYTREE CAFE.

COVID-19 measures are being implemented
At Tokyo Skytree, measures against COVID-19 are in place, including placement of hand sanitizer stations for guests. In addition, antibacterial detergent is used to clean the floors, and the staff take care to wash their hands and gargle. Visitors are required to wear a mask.

Ventilation inside the observatory has been increased up to about double the usual, and the air inside the observatory is replaced once every 15-20 minutes to maintain a clean air environment. Tokyo Skytree is also implementing a variety of other measures, such as reducing the number of guests on the Tembo Deck to around 20-30% of capacity, and limiting the number of people in the elevators at the same time.
