Japan has somehow gone and made Oreos even better!
Oreo Sakura & Matcha: New Japan-inspired Flavors for the Classic Cookie
![Sakura Oreo and Matcha Oreo](https://rimage.gnst.jp/livejapan.com/public/article/detail/a/00/04/a0004350/img/en/a0004350_parts_5e8320f36872f.png?20200924202146&q=80)
This spring, two new flavors of Oreo Crispy cookies will be available only in Japan. Crispy Oreos are a thinner, crispier version of the classic sandwich cookie, with a wider variety of flavors than the standard vanilla cream. The new flavors are inspired by iconic Japanese desserts. Which do you want to try?
Just in time for spring, the Sakura Chiffon Cake flavor features a delicate pink cream reminiscent of springtime cherry blossoms. Can you imagine - the perfect sakura Oreo!
Meanwhile, the new matcha Oreo looks incredible as well. The pale green cream of the Matcha Roll Cake Oreo flavor is made with real matcha green tea powder.
Both Japan Oreos come in boxes with a Japanese-style design, so you can use them as gifts (if you don’t eat them yourself first!)
These new Oreo flavors will be available from April 6th at supermarkets, convenience stores, and drug stores throughout Japan. Don’t miss your chance to try this familiar snack with a Japanese flair!
