Renovated and reopened in June 2019.This is 'Ujicha Inn,' a renovated 100-year-old Kyoto townhouse located in Oguracho Terauchi, Uji City, along the Nara Highway (a quiet tea town). Founded in Taisho 3 (1914), Bingoya has been welcoming visitors to Tamashima Port in Kurashiki with its cuisine. A detached tea house surrounded by an old garden with ancient trees. Each building is constructed along the slope of the mountain, offering broader views as you ascend. Each structure has a unique charm, showcasing intricate designs that evoke the nostalgia of old Japan. Formerly a traditional Japanese restaurant, it now operates as a culinary inn, where guests can enjoy authentic seasonal kaiseki cuisine from the Seto Inland Sea in detached rooms or private dining spaces.

Daily services are held every morning at 7:00 AM (Free, open to all). *Additionally, unique temple experiences such as meditation (zazen), sutra copying, yoga, and Kaidan Meguri are also available (with a fee).
