Kingyozaka was established by a goldfish wholesaler with about 350 years' history. You can enjoy delicious tea and meals while looking at goldfish swimming elegantly. (Or an alcoholic beverage and a cigar if you so desire!) They sell goldfish in the tank outside the cafe as well as goldfish-motif goods.
The thin, refined, white noodles feel good going down, and go well with the noodle soup base full of umami extracted from dried bonito and kelp. The store’s famous menu item is Kyohu Udonsuki (from 5,000 JPY), which contains abundant ingredients from the sea and mountains. Soba Gozen (from 1,500 JPY), which includes a side dish, a seasonal soba and a bowl of rice, is also popular.
This is a cheesecake specialty shop, providing over 30 kinds of special cheesecakes (from 594 JPY) that rotate from day to day. Besides cheesecake there's an abundant food menu, such as a quiche set and a coconut curry.
