Sanrio, home to the ubiquitous Hello Kitty, frequently features its characters in various collaborations and goods. This time, using the popular Japanese dish sushi as a motif, the company has released a series of adorable “Sanrio Sushi”. They are available at Sanrio stores, the Sanrio section in department stores and the Sanrio online shop from January 22.
Cushion (three types) 3,080 yen each
These extremely huggable cushions feature Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll. They are around 21.5 to 30cm in width, 15cm in height and 30 to 35cm in length. *The size varies depending on the character.
Mascot Character (six types) 1,980 yen each
These mascot characters are a smaller alternative around the size of your palm but are equally cute. Featuring six characters – Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Gudetama and Badtz-Maru, the mascot characters are estimated to be of width 8cm, height 6cm and length 11cm.
Key Holders (six types) 880 yen each
There are six characters featured on key holders as part of the “Sanrio Sushi” lineup – Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Gudetama and Badtz-Maru, and they are about 4cm by 4cm in size.
Pouch (two types) 1,540 yen each
Ideal for storing accessories and small items, these pouches come in two versions featuring Badtz-Maru and Pompompurin. The Badtz-Maru version is estimated to be 9cm in width, 7cm in height and 6cm in length; the Pompompurin version is around 9cm in diameter and 5cm in length.
iPhone 7/8 Case 3300 yen
This sturdy, shock-absorbent iPhone case features illustrations of various Sanrio characters, including Keroppi.
Hold a Sushi Party at Home with This Adorable Tableware
The “Sanrio Sushi” lineup includes tableware that you can use for holding a sushi party of your own! The tableware includes melamine plates (three types; 440 yen each), bowls at 1,100 yen, yunomi teacups at 1,100 yen, chopsticks-shaped ballpoint pens (six types; 770 yen each) and clear files for 440 yen. These are practical options that still retain the same cuteness of Sanrio characters!
