Description
This is a museum located on the fourth floor of the Panasonic Tokyo Shiodome Building. It has a collection of 230 works of a French painter, Georges Rouault (1871-1958), a leading artist of the 20th century. In the Rouault Gallery, there is a permanent exhibition of the masterpieces among the collection according to the themes such as circus, Christ, landscape, and prints. There are also special exhibitions of various materials relating to Rouault and those related to the business of Panasonic, which is an electronics manufacturer and home builder. The theme of the special exhibitions is to enrich the lives of people in architecture and spatial design. From the second basement floor to the first floor are used as a living showroom, in which Panasonic products are displayed. It is a five-minute walk from the Exit 3 or 4 of the Toei Oedo Line's Shiodome Station.
