A 2-minute walk from Oshiage Station on the subway, the hostel Tokyo Hutte is just past the Tokyo Skytree along the river running away from the newest symbol of the city. There is a communal lounge on the 1st floor where you can chat with other guests as well as Inkr, a café bar in the hostel offering coffee and beer.
Oshiage Station is on both the Toei Asakusa Line (with direct connections to the Keihin Oshiage Rapid) and the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, making it very convenient for getting to downtown Tokyo and the airport. There is also direct shuttle bus service from Tokyo Skytree to Tokyo Station, Haneda Airport and Tokyo Disney Resort every day.
