Ebisu is gaining popularity as a stylish and town many want to live in. It is known as a town for adults since it doesn't get too crowded despite being close to Shibuya, the gathering spot of youngsters. Here is a plan that makes the most out of Ebisu in 3 hours!
Start with the Yebisu Garden Place

It’s about a 5 minute walk using a speed walkway from Ebisu Station on JR or Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. The Yebisu Garden Place was built on the old site of the Sapporo Beer factory, and it is a complex facility that houses office buildings, a department store, a movie theater, museums and restaurants. There are many cultural facilities in the area, and it is also the town where people with refined senses often visit as it is next to Daikanyama, the birthplace of trends. The place can be considered as a large scale culture town for adults who want a slight break from daily life.

The Museum of Yebisu Beer, for beer lovers

The town name Ebisu is named after Yebisu Beer. You can learn about the history of Yebisu Beer, and its relationship with the town through the precious products and pictures of those days exhibited in the museum. Anyone can look around the museum for free, and the museum tour with the cost of 500 JPY is extremely popular. You can learn the three-steps to pouring the perfect beer, and taste it as well. They offer soft drinks as well so you can enjoy the place even if you don't drink beers. A tasting set of various types of German style sausages to compare the taste is recommended which is available at the adjacent Tasting Salon.
