Biscuits that have been loved for over a century
Shiseido Parlor opened in 1902 as Japan's first soda fountain. A shop on the first floor of the Ginza main store sells limited-availability items that are only available there. The hand-baked tsubaki (camellia) biscuits are particularly popular. Each individual biscuit is handcrafted using carefully selected ingredients such as aromatic fermented butter, flour from Hokkaido, and fertilized eggs. These biscuits are referred to as "kurokan (black can)" because they are enclosed in a black can, and are the perfect item for a special souvenir.
