Whether you're a fan of the series or not, if you've been on the internet anytime in the past few years, you've no doubt heard about 'Naruto running.' (A running style in Japanese anime where characters run full speed with their arms outstretched behind their backs.)
Naruto running has become something of a meme over the years. However, while some might argue that it's unnatural for people to run that way, others might say... you're just not wearing the right shoes!

Practice Your Naruto Run with Mizuno's Contender Naruto Running Sneakers!
On January 8, Mizuno released their latest collaboration, the Contender Naruto sneaker. This is the first official collaboration between the popular sportswear company and the world-famous anime series, Naruto. And what could be more appropriate than pairing the series that popularized the animated running style as the 'Naruto run' with a running sneaker?
Each design in the latest lineup of Contender sneakers is inspired by the three main characters of the Naruto series, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and the main character himself, Naruto Uzumaki.
Fans Will Love These Designs... Believe It!

Each sneaker design reflects their respective character's appearance and personality by incorporating the color scheme and style elements they are known for.
But don't worry, these aren't your toddler's shoes! Mizuno stays true to the anime's themes by creating fashion-friendly designs that even adults will find easy to match with a casual outfit.
The theme of Naruto's sneaker is Konohagakure Village, with a black and orange color scheme to match the character's trademark jumpsuit, and a yellow inside to match his hair. The Sakura design combines pink and red to match the colors of her dress and hair. The Sasuke design also matches his hair and outfit with a combination of blue and purple.
Aside from the colors, fans will also appreciate the small details on the sneaker's tongue and back side. Just like the color schemes, each sneaker also features symbols that fans of the series will immediately recognize for their favorite character.

The back design differs by character: Naruto's design is the Uzumaki crest, Sasuke's is the Uchiha fan, and Sakura's is the white circle that decorates her outfit. The side logos are also unique to each character, with Naruto's resembling a frog pattern, and Sasuke's resembling a snake pattern. The tongues of all three are adorned with the leaf symbol of Konohagakure Village.
If you loved the Naruto manga or animated series, then you'll love Mizuno's Contender Naruto character running sneakers. Buy your favorite character's design, or buy all three! But don't wait - Naruto-run to your nearest Mizuno retailer and get your pair today!
