Very overcrowded but definitely worth a visit. I believe this is a shinto shrine (I think), great contrast to asakusa sensoji. Beautiful placeVisited October 2024 -

Had to queue for 15 minutes to buy an entry tickets from the machine. Hundreds of people queued up. There was an employee with a megaphone yelling out Kkday as apparently you can buy tickets online...Visited October 2024

Beautiful temple and a great omotemon. This temple was a memorial of Tokugawa Ieyasu whose family ruled Japan for 15 generations until they finally gave up power in 1868. Definitely come here but...Visited October 2024
