All the other baths aside from the iwaburo are artificial hot springs based on nationwide famous hot springs. However, their iwaburo is a natural hot spring that wells up from 2,000 meters underground! The name of this source is Seibu-Chichibu Ekimae Onsen.
This water is a mix of rainwater and underground water heated deep within the folds of the earth. The water is alkaline which is said to decrease blood pressure. Aside from people who have high blood pressure, this soothing hot spring is also perfect for those who want to recover from fatigue and improve their health.
While gathering information, we found out that this is based on the Kurokawa Onsen in Kumamoto Prefecture.
After relaxing in the hot spring, we recommend staying in the lounge.
