Naha Airport

Naha Airport is the main gateway to Okinawa Island and is located very close to central Naha, making it a convenient international airport. From there, travelers can reach major attractions by using the Yui Rail monorail or local buses.
Tourist information centers are located in both the domestic and international terminals and offer support in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and several other languages. Staff can help with reservations for sightseeing buses and taxi tours.
Within Naha City, the Yui Rail provides the smoothest transportation because it is not affected by traffic congestion.
For travel northward, a direct bus runs between Naha Airport and Chatan Gateway in central Okinawa in about 50 minutes. From Chatan Gateway, free loop buses and shared bicycles serve the Mihama American Village area, a starting point for exploring central and northern Okinawa.
