[December 2022] A new type of hot spring inn has opened in Beppu, the capital of Onsen Prefecture. All rooms are detached, with no meals included, and come with a private sauna and a natural hot spring/groundwater cold bath. You can enjoy Japan's only hot spring loyly in the sauna in your room.
