Description
Kominka Yuunagi is an exclusive accommodation facility utilizing a 130-year-old traditional Japanese house located in a nationally designated Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Guests can enjoy private use of the entire house and a 1,000㎡ field, experiencing seasonal nature activities such as harvesting wild vegetables, edible wild plants, and pesticide-free produce, campfires, and nature walks. The building retains traditional Japanese architectural features like earthen walls, plaster walls, and lacquered floorboards. It also incorporates traditional crafts from the Hokuriku region, such as Kutani porcelain, Yamanaka lacquerware, Wajima lacquerware, and Mino washi paper, offering a cultural connection as one of its attractions. Families with babies can stay with peace of mind, as wooden toys and baby goods are also available for rent. Surrounded by mountains, a sandy beach along a clear stream is accessible within a 5-minute walk. Guests can enjoy forest walks, stargazing, and seasonal scenery. It is about a 1-hour drive from Kanazawa and conveniently located near the nearest national highway. Situated in a safe area with extremely low disaster risks, it is an inn where guests can quietly enjoy nature and culture.
