Madarao Elm Pension

Located in the center of Madarao Kogen, it is an 8-minute walk (1-minute drive) from Madarao Kogen Hotel and the entrance to Madarao Kogen Ski Resort. This Tyrolean-style wooden pension stands in the Chikumadai Pension Village. It is located in a forest of birch and oak trees, and the site is a beautiful natural environment in each season. Various birds and small animals visit throughout the year. There are 10 rooms in total, with 3 sets of beds. All rooms have outdoor baths and toilets, and the toilet and bath are shared. There are two shared baths, one for 5 people and one for 3 and 2 people. For guests who wish to use the hot springs, we recommend the nearby "Madarao no Yu". During the ski season, you can enjoy a comfortable snow life with a Swedish hot water central heating. Meals are taken in the dining room, which can accommodate 28 people. The dining room is followed by a lounge where you can enjoy TV, piano, games, etc. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. There is a shuttle to the ski resort and a shuttle from the bus terminal, Madarao Kogen Hotel. There is a free parking lot for 10 cars. In the winter season, there are many inbound tourists, creating an international atmosphere. It is also the secretariat for the Madarao Jazz and Hometown Chorus Exchange Association, and is a place for music-related events.
