Fujiya Hotel

Fujiya Hotel was founded in Miyanoshita, Hakone in 1878 (Meiji 11) as a pioneer of resort hotels. Fujiya Hotel has been walking with our guests for over 140 years, from the Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras, and was reborn in July 2020. There are four accommodation buildings in total. The Main Building, Western Building, and Hanagoten are designated as national registered tangible cultural properties, and have a classical atmosphere from the Meiji to early Showa eras. The Forest Wing is located on a hill on the hotel grounds overlooking the old building. The bathrooms are filled with Miyanoshita natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy a hot spring bath in your room. A spa was added to the top floor of the Forest Wing during the 2020 renovation. You can enjoy Miyanoshita Onsen, a famous hot spring that is counted among the Seven Hot Springs of Hakone, while looking out over the majestic view of the Hakone outer rim. For dinner, choose from French cuisine made with recipes handed down for generations, Japanese cuisine served in a historic, purely Japanese building that was originally built as the Imperial Miyanoshita Villa, or Western cuisine served at the newly opened restaurant "Cascade" in this renovation.
