Description
This corporate art museum run by DIC corporation, which manufactures and sells printing inks, is located on the premises of the DIC Central Research Laboratory. The musem has over 1,000 artworks including modern Western pieces by Monet, Picasso and Chagall; works by Rembrandt, who brilliantly showed the subject's state of mind through masterful use of light and shadow; postwar American works; and byobu (Japanese painting on a folding screen).Exhibits change several times a year, and special exhibitions are held as well.Guided tours and various events help visitors further understand the meaning of the works.Nature trails crisscrossing the vast premises let you appreciate seasonal plants and flowers from up close.A 20–30 minute free limousine bus ride from Sakura Station on either the Sobu Main Line or Keisei Line.
