Kumano-taisha Shrine

熊野大社

Description

Being one of the three major Kumano shrines in Japan, this prestigious shrine is believed to date back to 806. The massive thatched Haiden hall is imposing, and definitely worth a look. Legend has it that if you can find three rabbits within sculptures behind the Honden, your wishes will come true.
