They say that alkaline hot water that’s effective for beautifying the skin is pH 7.5 and above; the hot spring of Kashoen no Yu is pH 9.0. The water is easily absorbed by the skin, luring you back for soak after soak. And there are both an indoor and outdoor bath to choose from, each made of cypress.
