Akita Omoriyama Zoo, the forest of Akigin and Omorin

Description

This zoo is a great place to encounter elephants, giraffes, capybaras, red pandas and many other animals up close. Highlights include the ”Oja no Mori (forest of kings)” area featuring lions and tigers, as well as the ”Sarukko no Mori” monkey zone. The ”Asove no Mori” with large playground equipment is popular with children.
