A New Sensation Museum to Watch, Experience, and be Emotional
This museum was established in March 2003 with 3 designers, Issei Miyake (fashion designer), Taku Sato (graphic designer), and Naoto Fukazawa (product designer) as its directors and Noriko Kawakami, a journalist and editor, as its associate director. Not only does it offer exhibitions, but it also offers various programs such as talks and workshops with a concept of "becoming a venue where day-to-day perspectives and views can be proposed." The building with a symbolic roof created with an image of "one sheet of fabric" was designed by Tadao Ando, an architect.

One of the Largest Exhibition Spaces in Japan is Worth a Visit
The National Art Center Tokyo was opened in January 2007 as the 5th National Museum. Now, the unique and artistic contoured architecture is a symbol of Roppongi. Considered one of Japan's largest exhibition spaces, it is 14,000 ㎡ in size and hold various exhibitions which express arts that become the focus of topics every time. It is recommended to visit here with enough time to spare, as there is an art library, museum shops, and a cafe & restaurant.

Exhibit Various Programs Focusing Japanese Art
Since its opening in 1961, Suntory Museum of Art has been loved by many fans. After moving to Tokyo Midtown, the museum has been holding exhibitions with various aspects focusing on Japanese Antiques with its theme of "Beauty in Everyday Life". More than 3,000 items are in its collection such as: paintings, potteries, glass arts, and textile works. Among them, 1 national treasure, 13 important cultural properties, and 21 designated important arts created in the period of Heian to Edo (around 800 to 1800) are also included.

Sumitomo Collection, Highly Praised Art, in Tokyo
This museum conserves and exhibits arts collected by the Sumitomo family, with its main building located in Shishiga-tani, Kyoto. The collection is composed of various and diverse items, such as modern Japanese and Western paintings, modern pottery and chinaware, tea utensils, and Noh masks and costumes collected from the middle of the Meiji era to Taisho era. Despite being in the middle of Roppongi, it is surrounded by greenery and is a quiet environment, which lets you forget about time and appreciate the arts to your heart's content.
