Description
Danjiris, which are traditional wooden floats that weigh up to 4 tons and are up to 14 meters in height, are taken at speed through the city, with loud shouts of “Yarimawashi” directing them. The carpenters who made the floats stand at the top of them and dance, making an awe-inspiring spectacle as the floats move very fast at times!
Date and time: This is held twice, at the weekend, once in mid-September and once in early October.
The first festival (on the first day) is from 6:00 to 22:00, while the second festival (second day) starts from 7:00.
