NAMBA WALK

Stretching 715 meters to the east and west from Osaka Metro Namba Station, Namba Walk is a linear shopping mall that links Osaka Metro Nipponbashi Station at the east end and JR Namba Station in the west. It consists of two streets, the North Street and the South Street, and is mainly divided into three zones. Five indoor parks exhibiting symbolic monuments, including ”the Whale Park” and ”the Forest Park,” are popular ”Gathering Spaces” for seasonal events. Be sure to catch ”the Art Park” in the Ichiban Gai (”1st Street”) section, where you can view artifacts owned by The Art Institute of Chicago reproduced on ceramic tiles.
