Description
The national route 308 passing in front of the inn is called the Kuragari Kaido. In ancient times during the Nara period, it was created as a road connecting Heijokyo and Naniwa (Osaka).During the Edo period, it was used as a route for the sankin-kotai system and was loved by commoners as a pilgrimage route to Ise.This Oze town once flourished as a post town, but now only a few remnants of that era remain. In this Oze, we have created an inn utilizing an old traditional house that was once a blacksmith's workshop.
Experience a relaxing time in the unique atmosphere of a traditional Japanese house with large wooden beams and a warm veranda surrounding the inner courtyard.Enjoy unlimited access to the owner's collection of over 1,000 books, including manga, travel guides, and cookbooks.
We offer room types including Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and a women-only dormitory (4 beds). The facility is equipped with a shared living room, a mini kitchen, and clean shower rooms.
We hope this space becomes a place where travelers and local residents can spend time as if they were living here.
Ikoma offers excellent access to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, making it a convenient base for sightseeing.Natomi Inn is located three stops south of Ikoma Station on a local line, just a 3-minute walk from the station, surrounded by nostalgic scenery.
