Description
The largest goldfish museum has been established in Nara Prefecture, one of the three major goldfish producing areas in Japan.
It is more than a ”goldfish museum” but an ”entertainment aquarium,” offering a space of ”surprise,” ”healing,” and ”impression” that can be felt with five senses. It is divided into seven artistic spaces such as projection mapping, light, stained glass, and mirrors. The ”JAPONE Koji” in particular recreates the streets of Edo, with a bewitching atmosphere like that of an oiran street. Visitors can enjoy Japanese four seasons such as cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall, and will be welcomed by the beauty of Japan and colorful artwork created by 21 Japanese umbrellas and lights.
Located in the center of Nara's famous landmarks such as Heijo Palace Site Historical Park, Suzakumon Gate, Todaiji Temple and Nara Park, and only 10 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station by ”Gurutto Bus”, which is really convenient for sightseeing.
There are coin lockers in ”Mi Nala” where the museum is located, so you can visit during your sightseeing or strolling.
