Description
This is the former home of the Fukuchiin family, who served as priests at Kohfukuji Daijoin Temple. In the Showa era, it was inherited by the Imanishi family, who ran the Harushika Sake Brewery. The home is designated as an important cultural property of the Muromachi era due to its early shoin-zukuri architectural style. The shoin (study) looks across a beautifully landscaped garden. With a reservation three days in advance, you can enjoy their ”Shoin Gozen” lunch set (two groups on weekdays, one group on weekends).
