A beautiful Japanese inn that has maintained its traditional appearance and hospitality
This is the imperial palace where En Gyoja, the founder of the mountain religion Shugendo, was born. Once upon a time, people journeyed to the mountains where the gods resided, healing themselves with clean hot springs and water. Gosho-machi retains the townscape of the early Edo period and the nostalgic atmosphere of the Showa era. For meals, we offer Western cuisine that will be loved by everyone, using ingredients unique to the imperial palace, such as kudzu and duck, along with local sake grown from the rich water of the imperial palace. We provide all guests with free access to the Gosho Takarayu bathhouse (all-you-can-use public bath and sauna) during their stay (excluding holidays). Enjoy a relaxing stay at the public bath even on your check-out day.
An inn where you can immerse yourself in the retro Showa era, with traces of a bicycle shop back then. A room where you can stay with your car, perfect for bicycle lovers. If you are not a cyclist, you can rent a bicycle and enjoy cycling through the great outdoors and historical atmosphere. At the end of the day, you can work up a sweat at Gosho Takarayu, a public bath that has become a local public property, and have a warm connection with local residents. Afterwards, if you talk to your friends or people you met during your travels in the open lounge, you will already become residents of the Imperial Palace.
A 130-140 year old storehouse has been transformed into a lodging facility with 7 rooms. The dishes are made with Maruto Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce, made with local ingredients. Experience the charm of Tawaramoto through experiences such as pressing soy sauce and harvesting organic vegetables. We hope you will enjoy the slow flow of time while looking out over the original Yamato landscape, feeling the atmosphere of the time and experiencing the lives of the brewers.
A long-established inn with each room having its own unique hot spring source, Hasedera Onsen. Enjoy the historic Hasedera Onsen, which gushes out from 600 meters underground and will make your skin smooth, and enjoy local Nara cuisine such as the famous "Wakamonabe" in the evening and "Chagayu" in the morning, served in your room. The morning service at Hasedera Temple is an unknown and sacred experience that can only be experienced at Hasedera Temple!
