Iseshi Station

Iseshi Station is the closest station to Ise Grand Shrine and serves as an important base for travel around the Iseshima region. Both JR and Kintetsu lines stop here.
Inside the station, the Iseshi Tourist Information Center offers assistance for international visitors and has staff who can help in English and other languages. They provide transportation guidance and help plan sightseeing routes. A nearby baggage counter allows visitors to explore Ise Grand Shrine and the city without carrying heavy bags, and offers same-day luggage delivery to accommodations, bicycle rentals, and mobile battery rentals.
For sightseeing, the Ise-Toba Michikusa Ticket allows unlimited rides on local buses in Ise and Toba and is convenient for travel.
On Friday and Saturday nights and other times when buses and taxis become limited, a Japanese-style ride-share trial is available. Visitors can request a car through the ”GO” taxi app. The city becomes extremely crowded during New Year and major holidays, so early planning is recommended.
