Wakakusa-an

Only a 5-minute walk from JR Nijo Train Station, Wakakusa-an offers a traditional Machiya townhouse with a private garden. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property, and guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and local Japanese tea.

Guests rent out the entire Japanese-style townhouse, which features rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and a bedroom with Western beds. A flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a microwave are provided at the property. Tea can be made using the electric kettle and you can store food in the fridge. The en suite bathroom comes with a bath tub made from Hinoki cypress wood. The property comes with an additional toilet and some guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors.
