We hope to share the joys of the seasons with everyone by creating an environment that involves small-scale farming, growing rice and vegetables, gradually planting fruit trees to increase the amount of fruit, and small-scale forestry making firewood. This is a Kyoto Kitayama-style farmhouse built over 200 years ago that can be rented as an experiential farm stay. The house is located at the foot of the mountain in the village, in an area where flora and fauna coexist, with seasonal breezes, morning air, and the sounds of deer. This is an experience of living in a house that has been around since the days when there was no electricity, gas, or water. Relaxing bathing in an iron bathtub heated with firewood (hot water and showers are available). The taste of rice cooked with firewood (common kitchen utensils such as a gas stove and microwave are available). The fire in the hearth (cooking your own meals such as grilling on a charcoal grill, hot pot, and sukiyaki is also recommended). Air, Wi-Fi, Chopping firewood, Catching insects and frogs, Harvesting vegetables in the fields depending on the season. There are still houses nearby that have been inhabited for hundreds of years. Supermarkets, convenience stores, local markets, etc. are about 15 minutes away by car. There is also a short trek to a waterfall about 20 minutes by car, and a hot spring about 30 minutes by car. Please be careful of the natural environment and safety when handling fire.
