Description
Daisen-in Temple features abbot's chambers (Koto no Ma) and an entrance hall (Genkan) which are said to be the oldest structures in Japan to be based on the Zen way of thinking. The temple is designated as a national treasure. It also features a Japanese stone garden from the Muromachi period, designated as a special place of scenic beauty.
