Manpuku-ji Temple

Description

Manpuku-ji Temple is the head temple of the Obaku sect of Zen Buddhism. This temple was built in 1661 by the Ming zen monk, Ingen Zenji (Yinguan Longqi) and molded after the Wanfu Temple on Mount Huangbo in Fuzhou, China. Various buildings stand on the ground that are representative of Ming dynasty architecture. It is also known for allowing guests to partake in Fucha cuisine.
