Hotel Utano Kyoto Bessho is just a 10-minute drive from Kyoto's tourist attraction, Arashiyama, and the Kinukake-no-michi walking path that connects the world heritage sites of Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryoan-ji Temple, and Ninna-ji Temple. All 10 guest rooms have hot spring baths. We have the Narutaki Main Building, which is strongly influenced by Shoin-zukuri and Sukiya-style architecture, the Art Deco-style Western-style building, and rooms that combine Western contemporary design while making the most of the warmth of Japanese culture. Meals are served in the dining room overlooking the Japanese garden, and we offer a variety of dishes that are not bound to a specific category, focusing on Japanese cuisine, but also using carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto and the surrounding areas, with a focus on seafood from Miketsukuni, Awaji Island. And the spacious space of approximately 1000 tsubo and Japanese garden are a reproduction of the garden designed and managed by landscape designer Mirei Shigemori.
