Train was at the station and as expected from japanese hospitality they refused to let us on, don't go not nearly worth it.Visited September 2025 -

The train trip is ok but not as good as the Hakone Romance Train. It’s cramped seating on old school wooden seats - and the seating faces both ways so you can end up facing backwards the whole trip...Visited September 2025 -

The weather was hot and humid so romance was lacking. Scenery was not beautiful without the autumn colours, scenery was mostly at one-side and the train driver spoke in Japanese only for tourists...Visited September 2025
