Description
The impressive unique exterior is based on the shape of a lantern. The bath is also known Shujosukui-no-yu (life-saving hot springs), as jizo statues were discovered at its hot spring source. Jizo are protective figures that stand at the border of this world and the next. The site includes a modern indoor bath along with family-type baths.
