Description
This shrine is one of Otaru's most famous and historic. From its hill between the sea and the city, about 50 meters above sea level, you can get a great view of the seaports. The shrine's main building was finally completed in 1920, with three decorative roofs accenting its beauty. The area surrounding it used be a manor district, and splendid stone walls can still be found there.
