1. Soak at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention's new onsen hot springs!
Izumi Kotobuki-no-Yu is open! Everyone can enjoy spacious 20m wide hot spring open-air baths. The baths here are sodium chloride-based. These baths boast magnificent views of Shikotsu-Toya National Park.
A particularly exciting feature is that the windows around the spring do not gather condensation, providing for unobstructed views even while indoors.
Guests of the resort can use it free of charge. For outside visitors, charges are 1,300 yen for adults and 650 yen for children.
2. Enjoy magnificent Ainu stories in the evenings at Rusutsu Resort
A highlight of the resort is the Kamori Wonder Lights exhibit. It sports one of the largest projection mapping scenes in Japan, projecting onto a 50m-wide glass screen. It depicts the story of the Ainu with the motif of Hokkaido. Enjoy watching as the story unfolds with truly fantastic images!
Also, at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel, enjoy the incredible illumination of “Stardust Avenue & Hikari no Hiroba.” The display is lined with arches and animals created from 250,000 bulbs. The lights shining on the snow add to the majesty of the exhibit.

The Rusutsu Resort includes a fully-stocked lineup of your favorite shops, including brands such as Burton, Salomon, Goldwin, and Phenix. The Westin Rusutsu Resort also has The North Face brand. The rooms are spacious and are between 76 and 108 square meters. Each room features Westin’s original ergonomic mattress brand to ensure you get the most comfortable rest while you are here.

5. Savor the flavors of Hokkaido at the Atrium restaurant, located in the resort
The Atrium restaurant is located on the first floor of the Westin Rusutsu Resort. Enjoy a menu carefully selected based on seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido while gazing out on the panoramic view of the surrounding snowy area.
Lunch options include a range from Enzo venison and beef Bolognese with local vegetables in coconut milk to the exquisite spicy Mt. Yotei root vegetables done in a green curry.
For dinner, in addition to signature menus such as Roasted Ezo Venison, Roasted Root Vegetables, and Haskap Sauce, enjoy fresh Hokkaido-style sashimi and salmon roe, served buffet style.
