Description
These commercial storehouses were the first of their kind to be built in Hakodate at the end of the Meiji era, and were put to heavy use when the Northern Sea Fishery was at its peak. The area is now a commercial complex home to shopping malls, restaurants, a hall, and many other facilities all in one place.
