Description
Hokkaido's oldest museum of Ainu culture was opened by Kaneto Kawamura. Its exhibits contain approximately 500 artifacts of Ainu lifestyle and clothing. Live performances of Ainu dances are performed here, although there's no permanent schedule for them. There's also Ainu clothing you can try on for commemorative photos.
A ten-minute trip from Asahikawa Station on Asahikawa Denkikidou for Hokumoncho Nijuitchome, bus stops at the museum
