Looking to tackle the iconic trails of Mt. Fuji with a side of high-fashion functionality? You are in luck! Salomon just dropped their "Mt. FUJI COLLECTION," a special, Japan-exclusive lineup inspired by the legendary World Cultural Heritage site.
A Match Made in the Alps (and Fuji-Yoshida!)

This collection is the latest fruit of a partnership between Salomon—the iconic French mountain sports brand—and Fujiyoshida City, located right at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Since signing a comprehensive partnership agreement in 2025, the two have been working on the "Mt. FUJI Re-Style Project," which aims to breathe new life into the region's natural and cultural treasures. From renovating historic teahouses to supporting mountain rescue efforts, this isn't just about looking good—it's about honoring the "Fuji-michi" (the ancient paths leading to the summit).
What’s in the Bag (and on Your Feet)?

Salomon has taken two of their most beloved, reliable models and given them a bespoke, mountain-inspired makeover. Both pieces feature a special Mt. Fuji logo on the shoe’s tongue and the backpack’s front panel.
X ULTRA 360 GORE-TEX FUJI LTD: Your feet will be ready for anything with this specialized version of their classic hiking shoe. It’s built to handle whatever the mountain throws at you while keeping you stylishly connected to the landscape.
TRAILBLAZER 20 MONT FUJI: A sleek, durable, and ready-for-action backpack that’s the perfect companion for your next trekking adventure.
Ready to Gear Up?
This limited-edition collection officially launched on July 1, 2026. You can snag your pieces at:
・Select Salomon direct-retail stores across Japan
・Authorized retailers
・The Salomon Official Online Store
Whether you’re a seasoned mountain explorer or just looking to add some authentic Japanese spirit to your outdoor kit, these pieces are a beautiful way to wear a piece of Mt. Fuji history.
Happy trails!
