1. Nagomi Style Cafe Akiba: Bask in the Kyoto Atmosphere Without Ever Leaving Tokyo
You’ll find Nagomi Style Cafe Akiba near Akihabara Station as well as just outside the No. 4 exit of Suehirocho Station. This cafe is designed to have a Kyoto feel so it’s perfect for those who didn’t have the time or money to fit Kyoto into their Japan trip.
After passing through the entrance decorated with stone pavement and traditional Japanese umbrellas, you’ll be greeted by young female staff dressed in traditional kimono or hakama garbs. Instructions are given in English and Chinese so you can rest assured that you fully understand the services you are receiving at these fun accommodations in Tokyo.
There are more than 25,000 Japanese manga and magazines inside the store as well as personal booths for you to relax in. There are enough booths to fit 66 customers into the building at one time with 1-person booths, up to 6-person booths, and even luxury rooms for your enjoyment.
There are 6-hour and 12-hour packages and you can use their shower as well which encourages a lot of people to use these facilities as a hotel.
In order for foreign tourists to make use of the computer internet service, they will need a passport. However, there are booths without computer use that have Wi-Fi access that are available without a passport.
There is not only an area with unlimited free beverages, but you can also leave and come back anytime if you’d like to bring outside food into your booth. There are even Japanese priests' clothes available for rental that you can use as pajamas. For only 500 yen you can even store your luggage for up to 12 hours which is a steal considering the Akihabara location.

2. ℃ Ebisu: Reach the Deepest Levels of Relaxation in This Finnish-style Sauna and Capsule Hotel
From the west exit of Ebisu Station, head under the underpass and turn right at the St. Marc Cafe (Choco Cro) and you will find ℃ Ebisu. At these accommodations in Tokyo, you can rest your tired body in a Finnish-style sauna or use their capsule units to either take a nap or stay the night.
Having 162 capsules, it starts at just 4,900 yen to stay the night at this beautiful location. For those wishing to make use of the sauna only, it has an initial cost of 1,000 yen for the first hour and an additional charge of 500 yen for each hour thereafter. You can have access to towels, pajamas, shampoo, and other amenities are free of charge.
You can even leave your luggage with them on the day of your check-out so you don’t have to haul them around until you check in to the next place. English-speaking staff to come to your aid.
Although food and beverages are prohibited within the majority of the facility, it’s a good chance to enjoy some delicious Ebisu cuisine. Before planning to stay here as a couple, do be aware that the sections for male and female use are separated.

3. Nine Hours Woman Kanda: Perfect for Women Traveling by Themselves!
Nine Hours Woman Kanda is only a 3-minute walk from JR Kanda Station and within walking distance of the Iwamotocho Metro Station as well. This capsule is close to the station and only allows women so it’s great for those who are a little anxious about traveling alone.
The prices start at 4,900 yen per night. Not only is this a reasonable price for a night full of peace of mind, but they even offer hourly stays so it’s perfect to get a little rest before and/or after that long bus or train ride.
If you would like to use the shower only, you can do so for a mere 800 yen. When booking a room, you will be given a towel, pajamas, etc. after payment. You can then put extra stuff in your locker and relax in your capsule. There are a total of 70 capsules and English speaking staff are available.

4. Book and Bed Tokyo Shinjuku: Sleep Between the Bookshelves
Last, but not least is a place for book-lovers in the town popular with tourists from all over, Kabukicho, Shinjuku. In the spring of 2018, Book and Bed Tokyo opened in the Shinjuku Toho Building near the movie theater with the iconic Godzilla clinging to the side, TOHO Cinemas. As you can see, these are truly unique accommodations in Tokyo!
This hostel’s concept is that of a bookstore you can sleep in. It’s a paradise for book lovers everywhere where you can nod off to a good book. Already very popular with the Japanese audience, Book and Bed Tokyo already has 4 hostels in Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Asakusa (Tokyo), Kyoto, and Fukuoka.
