すみません。
(su-mi-ma-sen.)

How much is this?

いくらですか?
(i-ku-ra des ka?)

I would have this.

これをください。
(ko-re o ku-da-sa-i.)

I understand.

わかりました。
(wa-ka-ri ma-shi-ta.)

I do not understand.

わかりません。
(wa-ka-ri ma-sen.)

Thank you.

ありがとうございました。
(a-ri-ga-tō go-za-i ma-shi-ta.)

Good morning.

おはようございます。
(o-ha-yō go-za-i mas.)

Hello.

こんにちは。
(kon-ni-chi-wa.)

Good evening.

こんばんは。
(kon-ban-wa.)

Good night.

おやすみなさい。
(o-ya-su-mi na-sa-i.)

You are welcome.

どういたしまして。
(do-u i-ta-shi ma-shi-te.)

Nice to meet you.

はじめまして。
(ha-ji-me ma-shi-te.)

I am sorry.

ごめんなさい。
(go-men na-sa-i.)

Goodbye.

さようなら。
(sa-yō na-ra.)
