Turkey in Tokyo! 4 Places For Thanksgiving Dinner in Tokyo and Takeout For 2022

From fancy, high-class restaurants to cozy, casual eateries, and even a home-delivery service for those staying inside, here are 4 of our recommended places to chow down on a scrumptious Thanksgiving dinner in Tokyo this year!
1. The Oak Door (Grand Hyatt Tokyo)
The Oak Door, a lively steakhouse located in the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner between November 24 – 26. This sizable dinner course will be available in The Oak Door restaurant or pre-ordered to be picked up on Thanksgiving Day (must be reserved by November 17).
The restaurant course is 9,900 yen per person and will feature an assortment of classic Thanksgiving staples as follows:
・Starters: Autumn salad, chicory, pecans, la france pears
・Soup: Chestnut soup, apple
・Main: Roast turkey, whipped potatoes, pork sausage stuffing, gravy, brussels sprouts and bacon, “Annou” sweet potatoes, cranberry jam
・Sides: Green beans and creamed mushrooms, Sauteed spinach, Macaroni and cheese
・Dessert: The Oak Door pumpkin pie with vanilla soft cream, Coffee or tea
The takeout course is equally impressive, with the 47,520 yen Thanksgiving Set serving between approximately 4 people with most of the eat-in dishes included. If you’re just wanting a turkey, The Oak Door is also selling takeout whole roast turkeys with herb butter for 16,200 yen.

2. BLT STEAK ROPPONGI (Roppongi)
BLT STEAK ROPPONGI, one of the world’s most renowned American steakhouses, will be hosting a Thanksgiving lunch, dinner, and takeout delivery service at their Roppongi restaurant this November.
The lunch and dinner will be served on November 24 and 25 and can be booked up until November 23. Takeout can be ordered up until November 23.
Diners will be treated to a diverse menu of Thanksgiving delights like roast turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pottage, and more, topped with authentic gravy and cranberry relish to further nourish the soul. There are several courses to choose from, including a 7,000 yen or 10,000 yen dinner, 4,800 yen lunch, and 5,000 yen takeout delivery service.
The main difference between the two dinner courses is the inclusion of a fillet mignon steak in addition to turkey.

3. Empire Steak House Roppongi (Roppongi)
Empire Steak House Roppongi, renowned for introducing glamorous New York-style dining to Tokyo, will be offering a special Thanksgiving Day menu between November 24 - 27.
Diners will be able to relish authentic dishes of roasted turkey with homemade gravy and cranberry sauce both at the restaurant or as takeout. The highlight will be the eat-in multi-course meal with turkey complemented by a tapestry of mouth-watering appetizers, side dishes, and a dessert of toasty apple pie served a la mode. Also on the menu is a roasted whole or half turkey complemented by sweet potato fries, garlic sautéed broccoli, and homemade stuffing to enjoy at the restaurant or take home (see prices below).
For the full course treatment, Empire Steak House Roppongi will serve the following for 9,000 yen per person:
・Appetizer: One from among the following; Sizzling Canadian bacon, mixed green salad, Caesar salad, mozzarella and beefsteak tomato, Empire’s salad
・Main: Roasted turkey (homemade gravy and cranberry sauce)
・Sides: Sweet potato fries, green beans, homemade stuffing
・Dessert: Apple Pie a la mode
Available as both lunch and dinner from Thanksgiving Day on Thursday all the way through to Sunday, this is the perfect opportunity for those with busy schedules to snag some scrumptious Thanksgiving treats.
