Disney Easter 2017 is in full swing as of April 4. Not only Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are clad in the colors of Easter, but so is the Tokyo Disney Resort! For around two months, Easter parades and shows spread the Easter magic, and visitors can commemorate their unique Disney experience with one of the many seasonally limited goods! Let’s take a look at the highlights.
Bunny Ear Hairbands & Hair Ties
Wearing fun and cute hats and hairbands is a must when visiting Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. Easter brings adorable bunny ear hairbands for 1,300 yen each (tax included) that can be bent into whatever shape you like! They come in four colors: pink, white, blue, and grey. Easter-themed hair ties between 500 and 800 yen each (tax included) are also available.
The bunny ear hairbands can be customized with a variety of different little accessories. From Disney Easter’s unique character Usatama to carrots, butterflies, and tiny hats, go fancy up your bunny ears in any way you like!
A Very Disney Bunny Tail!
If you’ve got the ears, you need a tail! This fluffy bunny tail looks like a charm for one’s bag at first glance, but it is actually a belt that can be worn around your waist. Wear your adorable scut with pride! The bunny tail comes in the same four colors as the ears.
Disney Easter Fashion
Another way to express your inner Easter bunny are the bunny nose sunglasses for 2,300 yen (tax included). Fancy Easter egg illustrations with Minnie and Mickey Mouse are drawn on the outside of the glasses.
Usatama Cushion
The lovely bunny-eared egg called Usatama can be taken home in the form of a big, soft cushion for 2,300 yen (tax included)! It’s the perfect size for warm, fluffy hugs and will gladly serve as a pillow for a quick nap. Or just let Usatama relax in your sofa – that’s entirely up to you.
Plushie Charms
If you want a smaller version of Usatama that is just as fluffy, the Usatama Plushie Charm is the right choice for you. Of course, other characters of the Easter Parade are also ready to adorn your bag, key, or wallet as plushie charms! The different charms cost between 1,300 and 1,700 yen (tax included).
Candy and Assorted Chocolate
Three pieces of strawberry milk candy sit in one Easter egg – yummy! These candy-filled eggs come in a set of six for 1,200 yen (tax included) and make for a wonderful Easter-themed snack souvenir. After you’ve finished eating all the candies, why not use the eggs as decorations or little boxes to store small jewelry in?
For chocolate lovers, we highly recommend the assorted chocolate set for 1,700 yen (tax included). It includes both milk chocolate and strawberry chocolate, six pieces in total.
Osenbei Rice Crackers
Why not take home the Disney Easter rice crackers, called osenbei, for a more Japanese snack souvenir? The rice cracker box is adorned with two long bunny ears and a beautiful “Disney Easter” lettering – and numerous rice cracker can be found inside!
Disney’s Popcorn Buckets
Popcorn is a must-have snack in both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. The Tokyo way of snacking this popcorn is to buy a bucket that can be refilled at every popcorn stall and taken back home. Of course, Disney Easter 2017 brings forth popcorn buckets that have long, adorable bunny ears! Get one for 2,300 yen (tax excluded).
Figurines for Your Mug
The Disney Easter goods also include various little figurines for 1,600 yen (tax included) that hang, dangle, and climb around your favorite coffee mug!
Mickey and Minnie Bunny Ear Plushies
Easter plushies are also making their debut! Mickey is blue, Minnie is pink, and both of them are wearing adorable bunny ears on their heads! They are available for 2,800 yen each (tax included).
Mickey and Minnie Costume Plushies
Disney’s two main mice, Mickey and Minnie, also dress up in colorful Easter-themed costumes! The 22cm plushies can be taken home for 2,800 yen each (tax included).
Duffy and Shellie May Easter Plushies
Of course, Duffy and Shellie May also have Easter versions of themselves, available as plushies for 2,800 yen each (tax excluded).
Pick Your Favorite!
In Japan, April marks the time of new beginnings as the fiscal year and the school year ends, and Easter rings in a new year! Why not commemorate this “New Year in Spring” with your favorite Easter goods from Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea!
