- Written by: Krys Suzuki
Halloween is here! However, despite the state of emergency being lifted in many places, you'll still need to take special precautions to celebrate safely. So forget the Halloween party this year. Avoid the crowds by bringing your friends to a Halloween hotel instead!
Many hotels in the city are now offering limited-time, Halloween-themed guest rooms where you and your friends can spend the night surrounded by spooky decor and party it up from the comfort and safety of your own haunted room.
Here are three of our favorite unique Halloween hotels you won't want to miss!
1. Enjoy your own Halloween party at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont
Forgo the Halloween crowds and bring your friend to a Halloween-themed room at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont instead! Located in Iidabashi, Hotel Metropolitan Edmont is offering a limited-time Halloween accommodation plan throughout the month of October. Bookings are limited to one room per day, and rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests.
A huge Jack-O-Lantern will greet you in the lobby. Once in your room, you'll be surrounded by all kinds of Halloween characters, from pumpkins and ghosts to witches and spiders. You'll even get to try some adorable Halloween sweets! Other perks include a large 90-inch screen projector on the ceiling and commemorative photo services.
We recommend this Halloween accommodation plan for families, friends, and even girls' night out. Don't worry about missing out on Halloween fun this year. Book a stay at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, and bring the Halloween party right into your hotel room!

2. Family-friendly Halloween fun at Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay
Oriental Hotels & Resorts is a hotel chain operated by Hotel Management Japan Co., Ltd. and partnered with Tokyo Disney Resort (R). For 2021, the Oriental Hotels & Resorts Tokyo Bay location (Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture) is offering the 'Cutie Kitty Nightmare' Halloween special from September 11 until the end of October.
This 2021 Halloween plan aims to support a new covid-conscious lifestyle by implementing specific daily health and safety measures in their hotels. Decorated disinfectants will encourage children to clean their hands. There are even brand-new LED disinfection boxes (called Toy Boxes) that allow children who are not yet able to get vaccinated to enjoy the toys and stuffed animals.
You can even go Trick-or-Treating! While you won't be going door-to-door asking strangers for candy, you'll find 'Trick or Treat!' Cards in various places around the hotel which you can present to the staff for Halloween goodies.
Black cats and Halloween characters welcome you into each Halloween room. There are two limited-time accommodation plans: the Baby Halloween Room (limited to 3 rooms per day) and the Halloween Room (limited to 2 rooms per day).
Forget about trick-or-treating or crowded Halloween parties. Throw your own Halloween-themed pajama party instead! The Halloween-themed sweets, drinks, and decorations are bound to make all your social media friends jealous!
