1. Remm Akihabara: Sleep comfortably in this hotel directly connected to Akihabara Station!
Akiba Tolim is the name of the terminal building directly connected to Akihabara Station on the JR Lines, and Remm Akihabara is right inside. Delicate touches to help guests rest more comfortably can be seen everywhere in the hotel.
All rooms come equipped with a massage chair, an amenity that appeals to many as it allows them to loosen up those tensed muscles after an entire day of intense sightseeing.
The hotel also uses an original mattress, called Silky Remm loaded with more than 1,800 pocket coils designed to disperse the pressure on a person's body. The mattress gently guides a person into dreamland in the quickest and most comfortable way imaginable.
The Akihabara hotel exterior, entrance, lobby, and elevator halls have been designed to get guests into a relaxed state of mind. From the moment you step in, you get the sense that you'll have a great night's rest here.
The building where this hotel is located contains well-known clothing franchises like Uniqlo and Muji alongside a number of restaurants and cafes - 19 in all, so the convenience you'll have access to when staying here is unparalleled.
Since the building is directly connected to the train station, being able to check-in without having to contend with inclement weather is another perk you gain by choosing this hotel.

2. Akihabara Washington Hotel: Paradise for railway enthusiasts
This Akihabara hotel is a mere one minute walk from the Central Gate of Akihabara Station on the JR Lines. Its most distinct characteristic is a guest room called Kuhane 1304 that features a miniature railway model stretching four square meters for your enjoyment, right in the room itself!
Guests of this room can gaze upon this impressive model as a display, or play with it like they would an actual N-scale model railway. The model accurately reproduces the tracks and streets of Akihabara's suburbs, and you can't help but feel like you're still sightseeing even though you've already checked into a hotel room!
The cabinets are filled with books and documents related to Japan's railway models and actual railway tracks. Now you can relish the world of rails without ever needing to leave your room!
When you check into the hotel, you'll be given a punched commemorative ticket, a coaster made out of scrapped Shinkansen seats, and a strap to welcome you for your stay.
If you've brought your own railway model set along, you're allowed to set it up and let it run. It's a great opportunity to grab a keepsake photo of your favorite model train with the Akihabara streetscape in the background!
*N-scale model rental (with fees) is available
*English, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean language versions of the website are available

3. First Cabin Akihabara: A capsule hotel of a higher grade
First Cabin Akihabara is a four minutes’ walk from the Showa-dori Gate of Akihabara Station on the JR Lines. Their accordion curtain room divider is a distinguishing design trait.
The hotel also offers a few types of rooms to choose from. For example, there's Business Class - rooms that pack great value for a reasonable price, and First Class - a more luxurious experience for those who can afford it.
Each First Class room comes with a 32-inch LCD TV, a 120cm (about 3.9 feet) wide semi-double bed, and a side table. Although classified as a capsule hotel room, the space has been engineered to be as comfortable to relax in as possible.
Wired internet, Wi-Fi access, and charging terminals are freely available to all guests, whether in the lounge or their own rooms. Facilities within the hotel, such as powder rooms, are kept clean and inviting, and guests are free to use them.
Since the rooms are capsules, they can't be locked individually, but floors are either male or female-only, giving women travelers peace of mind during their stay.
The hotel also has a large bathroom facility available for leisurely soaks that work well to drive the fatigue out of your wearied muscles after a long day out.

This Akihabara hostel can be reached in 7 minutes on foot from the Showa-dori Gate of Akihabara Station on the JR Lines. It caters to ladies who are in town to enjoy some cosplaying.
If you've never heard of this hobby before, cosplay is a portmanteau of "costume" and "play", and as the name suggests, is an activity where one play-acts as the character of the costume they are dressed in.
Staying at the hotel costs 3,000 yen per night, a great value for the services and amenities it provides, and it is supervised by internationally known cosplayer Konomi Akira, something that has generated much positive buzz.
A Japanese-style room near the reception desk allows guests to take cosplay pictures of themselves with a Japanese-style background.
The hotel rents out cosplay costumes for guests wanting to experience the activity, and you can take commemorative photographs within the hostel too!
If you urgently need to fix up your own costume, you can borrow sewing machines or irons from the hotel as well. All in all, this accommodation comes highly recommended from us for those of you wanting to enjoy the Japan-originated hobby of cosplaying, or are simply interested in finding out more about it.
