Established in 1979, it was operated as a long-established pension in Kyushu, "Kaze no Oka / Nobara". It was damaged by the Kumamoto earthquake in 2016 and had been closed for a long time. After five and a half years, we are finally back in business. The newly built building has been reborn as a "small hotel" with 5 rooms, including 1 room dedicated to guests with their dogs. The store name is also new, "Minami Aso Nobara INN". The barrier-free, elevator-equipped building has an orthodox design with soft colors, so that anyone can feel a gentle and healing space. All the guest rooms are twin rooms with baths with outstanding views. Although it has a simple and natural atmosphere, we have prepared the latest equipment such as Simmons beds and floor heating so that you can spend a comfortable time. In addition, the parking lot is stored on the first floor of the building, so it is covered and comfortable even on rainy days. Since its founding, the popular specialty dish "spare ribs" has also been revived, and we will welcome customers with more homely hospitality than ever before. We look forward to welcoming you to our small hotel Minami Aso Nobara INN.
After recovering from heavy rain damage, it has been reborn as an inn that is perfect for those who want to cherish their private space. A small inn with 9 rooms where you can spend a luxurious and relaxing time in the nature of Minamioguni. We offer a free shuttle service to the Kurokawa Onsen bus stop. Please feel free to contact us.
The 2LDK, 70 square meter room has 4 beds and a Japanese-style room. Amenities unified under the “Rakuten STAY” brand! A French bed mattress designed for comfort! Furthermore, we have introduced the much-talked-about ceiling light "popIn Aladdin" with a projector to the Japanese-style rooms in each building! A variety of content such as YouTube, online videos, and picture book readings are sure to be enjoyed by both children and adults. Our unmanned facility is free from the Three Cs and allows us to minimize contact with people. We are also carrying out sterilization and cleaning as a preventive measure against the coronavirus. The sea is right in front of you, and from the balcony deck you can see a star-filled sky that looks like a planetarium! Enjoy a stay in a private space at our facility, which boasts a location that blends with nature.
As the name "Thousand Forests" suggests, it is a detached inn with only three rooms, nestled in a lush, untouched natural forest. Natural spring water, fresh air, and the taste of wild vegetables nurtured by the earth. You can feel the richness of Aso with your whole body. A 30-minute drive from Aso Kumamoto Airport and a 5-minute walk from Ichinokawa Station on the JR Hohi Line. A new sense of relaxation is here. *Wi-Fi available *All rooms are equipped with floor heating in winter

Although it is a small inn, it is built on a slope, so it has many stairs. The floor is 3 stories from the top [front (1st floor), guest room (B1), guest room (B2) passage to the bath], and there is no elevator. There is always a spiral staircase for check-in / check-out and transportation to the dining venue.
This pension is popular for its charcoal-grilled 100% Higo Akaushi beef hamburger for barbecue-style dinner and homemade bread for breakfast. There are rooms that can accommodate 4 or more people, which is rare in nearby pensions, and a log house with a wood stove that can be rented as a whole. There are 3 guest rooms in the main building and a total of 4 rooms in the log house building. In the garden where seasonal flowers bloom, there are seesaws and swings handmade by the owner, which are especially popular with children. There are some parts that are not as well-equipped as compared to hotels, but we would appreciate it if you could help us spend a relaxing and calm time.
