1.Karuizawa Snow Park
Karuizawa Snow Park operates an entry fee system with no separate lift pass fee, and when you leave, you get a refund according to the time you spend on the slopes so you won't lose out if the weather turns bad or the kids fall sick have to leave early. On the slopes, which have been popular with families ever since they first opened, there is a fun tubing course for everyone from kids to adults! Steering through the connecting curves and tunnels scores full points in terms of the thrill factor. There is also a trail for kids with a snow escalator exclusively for sledding so you can have peace of mind whilst the kids have fun. There is a day nursery for kids who can't ski, 'Snowflake Kids Nursery School,' where kids can play indoors and outdoors in the snow. There is a nursing room for mums so all the family can enjoy playing in the snow.

2.Tambara Ski Park
Here, only about two hours from Tokyo, you can enjoy powder snow of Hokkaido quality throughout the long season from late November until early May. Renovated in 2014, the resort center is highly fashionable and convenient. About 80% of the piste is for beginners and intermediate skiers, perfect for kids. Of course, you can rent all your gear and join a ski school and get all the support you need. The moderately steep slopes are also great for intermediate to advanced skiers to test the accuracy of their skills and for snowboarders to enjoy grand tricks! The Snow Park now has a lot more to offer than before, with more jibs and layout changes every month to keep hardcore skiers and snowboarders totally hooked!
3.Minakami Hodaigi Ski Resort
It boasts course variations enjoyable for everyone. The base locates at 1,000m high, and the top altitude is 1,400m. There are 16 courses with powder snow. Nandaira course is recommended for mid-level to advanced skiers to enjoy refreshing skiing with fantastic panoramic views. For beginners, two long (over 1000m) and gentle slopes, the Family course, and the Tampopo course, are recommended. ACS automated ticket-scanning machines are implemented this season, making you ride lifts easily. A snow escalator is facilitated in the Kids Land where beginners can practice suitably, and also you can enjoy sled and snow tubing. Snow Fairy kids' daycare room is facilitated with full assistance by nurses, which allows you to come with kids comfortably.
4.Katashina Kogen Ski Resort
One of the few skier exclusive ski resorts in the Kanto region. It's only for skiers so you can relax. The Snow Kindergarten, enjoyed by infants, and the Junior Ski School are very popular. There are 11 trails, including the beginners' trail, the intermediate trail rich in variations, and the permanent slalom trail for improving your skills. There are also many attractions for families, including a snow escalator, sledding trail, and Miffy playground. If you join the ski resort's official club, there are many great value benefits.

5.Palcall Tsumagoi Ski Resort
With the opening of the newly built lift on the panorama trail, you can enjoy the slopes to the full extent! The highest trail at 2,100m in altitude is always covered in powder snow, and you can enjoy Hokkaido snow quality whilst in the Kanto region. The 3,200m 'Pal Cabin' gondola and the 4,500m total length 'Long Cruising' trail are just some of the attractions. Everyone from beginners to advanced level skiers and snowboarders will have a great time.

6.Kawaba Ski Resort
Enjoy perfect powder snow in only 2hrs from Tokyo. The snow-style park has a fun trail layout for everyone from beginners to advanced, and the artificial mogul trail, which is among the best in the Kanto region, is in great condition! The multi-story car park adjacent to the slopes is free every day of the week, so parking is convenient and won't cost you anything.
